Description: Established cafe offering sandwiches, salads & breakfast, plus unique sweet teas & espresso drinks.

Comments: Good access to outlets, especially along the tall chair bar-style seating. Someone clearly put effort into making sure people could stay charged up. Coffee Republic is expanding steadily across the Charlotte area, and I welcome it. All of their locations are quality.

This spot sits inside a converted industrial building with wooden floors, old brick walls, and stained wood finishes. It even smells like it, in the best way. They’ve jazzed it up with eclectic art, paintings, and little trinkets throughout. It’s a pretty neat space, and the surrounding downtown area is charming. Easy to walk around and explore local shops if you make the trip. Definitely worth a day trip from Charlotte.
