Description: Independent bubble tea and dessert spot serving a broad menu of shaken iced teas, milk teas, fruit drinks, slushes, and specialty flavors like Hokkaido, taro, honeydew, and dragon passion fruit. It goes beyond drinks with snacks and light bites such as onigiri, chicken teriyaki, and bubble waffles, giving it more range than a standard boba counter. Customer feedback consistently highlights fresh boba pearls, flavorful drinks, and warm, personable service. A good fit for a casual sweet treat, quick snack stop, or low-key hangout in the Matthews area.
Comments: I think the overlap between people who like K-pop and people who would enjoy this place is probably pretty big. It’s cute and small, with maybe five tables max, but they use every corner of the building well. I’ve seen pairs of students hanging out here to study, which feels right for the space. The owner is very kind, and it’s obvious she’s put a lot of thought into the menu. If you have questions about the drinks, she’s more than happy to explain how everything works, and she’s generally very friendly and open to chatting.
On my first visit here, a family from Jamaica came in and casually mentioned jerk chicken to each other, which somehow opened the door to a whole conversation. The owner started sharing her own experiences trying Caribbean food spots in Harlem and Brooklyn, and from there it just naturally turned into a broader conversation about food in general. It was delightful to watch, and it felt like such a genuine third place moment. Lovely little shop.
