Description: Small Christian coffee shop on South Tryon rooted in Biblical principles and focused on more than just serving coffee. The owners describe it as a kind of sacred space where coffee is a bridge for connection, conversation and hospitality that reflects Christ’s love.

You will find handcrafted espresso drinks, frappes, teas and a rotating selection of baked goods, along with gospel focused open mics, mixers and other community events that blend culture, community and faith. The atmosphere is intentionally warm and ministry minded rather than corporate, with an emphasis on people leaving refreshed, encouraged and more grounded in their sense of purpose.

Comments: The very definition of a hidden gem. I found out about it by word of mouth (shout out to Istar!). Owned by Eritrean locals who’ve filled the space with both Habesha culture and nods to their Christian values, which I love as a Christian myself. It’s one of those spots that feels genuine the moment you walk in.

There’s a bit of outdoor seating and more inside through the back room. When you first step in, you’ll see a couch and a few high-top tables, but head to the back and you’ll find more spots to sit, including a big table that’s great for groups. It’s compact but cozy.

Free Wi-Fi, great coffee, and a warm, friendly staff make it easy to stay awhile. They also host music nights, including gospel saxophone performances and other Christian-themed events that give the place real community energy. A true third place in every sense.
