Comments: A welcome addition to growing Charlotte Middle Eastern coffee shop scene which, as of 2025, includes Qahwah House, Haraz Elizabeth, Haraz LoSo, Vavela Cafe, Anatolia Cafe & Cuisine, and now Qamaria.

Haraz is rumored to be opening some new locations, and a spot called Bayt Al-Mocha is on its way to town sometime soon. They're all wonderful, although I still give Vavela the award for most beautiful coffee shop in Charlotte. I’d say this spot is most similar to Qahwah House in terms of size, and it shares the same beautiful, polished, upscale aesthetic that all the Middle Eastern coffee shops seem to have. The floors here literally glisten.

One thing that stands out is the booth-style seating, with soft patterned fabric and pillows that make it easy to stay awhile and study, read, or work remotely. The cheesecake options are crazy in the best way possible. They don’t have cinnamon rolls, but they do sometimes have a cinnamon roll cheesecake, a revolutionary combination of pastry proportions I'd never imagined possible.

If you like any of the other Middle Eastern coffee spots, you should make your way here. It’s worth the drive no matter what side of town you’re on. Outlet access is solid if you grab a spot by the wall. Most of the seating is round tables in the center, so come with a full charge just in case. Parking is free in the shared garage behind the building.
