You order by scanning a QR code on your phone, so staff only check in every now and then, which makes it easy to settle in for a while without worrying about table turnover. The space is lively with steady background noise rather than quiet study vibes, and the food is cheap and tasty enough to carry you through a long session of games and people watching.

Comments: Fun fact, I got to tour this spot before it opened while helping plan a pickleball tournament for a nonprofit I volunteer with, the Carolina Youth Coalition. They support high-achieving, under-resourced students on their journey to and through college. If you’re looking for ways to get involved, you should absolutely volunteer with them!

As for Tipsy Pickle, I got to see this place transform from an unfinished shell into one of the hottest pickleball and social spots in town. Our tournament went great, largely thanks to the Tipsy Pickle team who handled everything the day of, from food to drinks to logistics. We just focused on the prep work, and they made the event a success.

It’s located in Camp North End, which means free parking in the big gravel lot toward the back and plenty of other things to do nearby. Great location and an even better atmosphere. The food and drinks are solid, the vibe is lively, and it’s a great place not just to play pickleball but to grab a bite, sit at the bar, and hang out. There are two levels, plus plenty of outdoor space, so if you're looking for a place to meet a group of friends, this is a great pick.
