Description: A Yemeni-style coffee house in Concord serving traditional spiced coffee, espresso drinks, teas, refreshers, pastries, cakes, and specialty lattes in a warm modern café setting. The menu features drinks such as Harazi coffee, Sana’ani coffee, Turkish coffee, Adeni/Karak chai, qishr, pistachio lattes, cardamom-forward coffee drinks, and sweet café desserts. The atmosphere blends Middle Eastern coffee culture with a contemporary coffee shop feel, making it good for coffee dates, casual meetups, dessert, conversation, evening hangs, and trying Yemeni coffee traditions in the Concord area.
Comments: If you've been to one Haraz location, you've just about been to them all in terms of aesthetic. Yet, this place is just a little bit less polished and fancy looking than their other locations. Not by much, just slightly, but as someone that's been to all Haraz locations in the greater Charlotte area, it's noticeable to me. Aside from that, it's all the same menu items, and it's a great place to plop down with a laptop and work remotely, or study, or just hangout.
Acoustically it can get pretty loud when it's filled as the space itself isn't too spread out, so bring noise cancelling headphones. The chairs here are different than other Haraz locations. They have a curve to the bottom part, like it's acquiescing to the shape of your bum. I don't know if I like that. Access to outlets is decent, not great, not terrible.
