Description: Popular gathering place for craft coffee drinks & tea with outdoor seating on the front lawn.
Comments: Sits in a converted home, very cozy, very welcoming, very warm. Between outdoors, the first floor of the house, and the upstairs area, there's a good amount of seating. My favorite spots are the seats on the street side of the house in the covered patio area. If you're a "my life is a movie" type of person, they're a great spot to post up and watch the world go by, sit by the window, people watch, watch cars and businesses skate by, read or write a book. And there's solid outlet access in that area which surprised me, it's just a little cooler on cold days so bring a jacket.
Overall, for the size of the house, they do well with indoor and outdoor seating. But it's such a popular spot that I'd say still be warned if you're going during peak hours. Remote workers love this place, as do students, as do book clubs, as do the after-church crowd, so go early to secure the best seating. The parking situation is a gravel lot behind the building, but it can be challenging during peak times. There are about 6-8 spots right behind the shop and a handful more directly in front. There's free parking in the area though if you're willing to walk a bit, just drive around.
It's a great atmosphere for working remotely with a cozy rustic vibe. Also, a great spot for meeting friends or just vibing. It's everything a third place is supposed to be. Coffee and tea are great, and they have great pastries as well, including orange flavored cinnamon rolls sometimes and cookies from Honeybear Bake Shop (some of the best in Charlotte). Great spot.
