Description: A neighborhood coffee and cocktail bar in NoDa serving Night Swim Coffee throughout the day alongside approachable cocktails, beer, wine, and food from neighboring The Goodyear House. The intimate space occupies a restored historic mill home with cozy furnishings, soft lighting, bar and counter-height seating, and access to a shared outdoor area. The menu spans espresso and coffee drinks to burgers, fries, shareable snacks, soft serve, and late-night bites, giving the space a casual all-day café-to-bar feel.
Comments: This used to be Chief’s Modern Cocktail Parlor before being bought by The Goodyear House, the nearby restaurant, that re-branded it as The Goodyear Bar. But Chief's Modern Cocktail Parlor was already owned by the same hospitality group as The Goodyear House, so its like, ultimately this spot still rolls up to the same company.
Anyways, this spot has a coffee shop by day, bar by night vibe, and a generally cozy decor to it. It's in a renovated old house. There are a lot of other businesses in this area so parking can be tough. It's technically free street parking but limited spaces. If you can't find a free spot, there's a paid lot nearby.
