Description: A cat cafe in Rock Hill combining a full coffee bar, a cat lounge with adoptable cats, a boutique, and cat boarding services. The cafe side serves specialty espresso drinks, frappes, matcha, chai, lemonades, and refreshers using beans from local roaster Forte Legato, paired with gluten-free pastries from Wild Flour Sweets and freeze-dried candies from The Magic Box.

The cat lounge is a separate, calm space where visitors can interact with friendly cats available for adoption through partnerships with local rescues including the Lancaster SPCA. Walk-ins are welcome when capacity allows, but booking ahead is recommended, especially on weekends. The space also includes a boutique featuring products from local makers.

Comments: This is Rock Hill's first and only cat cafe, and it's a really well-thought-out operation. Inga Carey (the owner) went all in on the research, she literally visited 40+ cat cafes across the country before building this one. The cafe partners with Forte Legato for the coffee (local roaster) and the Lancaster SPCA for the cats, so you're supporting rescue efforts just by showing up.

For the cat lounge, no reservations are required, but there's a cost and they fill up on weekends and holidays, so booking ahead is smart. The building can be tricky to find, it's behind the Golden Corral on Cherry Rd. Look for the purple signs and enter via the Midas Auto Shop side off Cherry Rd, or from Anderson Rd across from the Clarion Hotel. They also run private parties in the cat lounge if you're looking for a unique event space.

One thing to note, this is more of a "hang out with cats and sip coffee" kind of place than a "camp out with your laptop for three hours" place. The cat lounge sessions are timed, but the cafe side is a more relaxed, open-ended hangout.
