Comments: If you’ve ever seen No Country for Old Men, this place feels like it could’ve been a replacement set for this scene. Like Anton Chigurh could’ve stopped here in the middle of his hunt to pick up a coffee and interrogate the barista with questions they don’t realize might determine how much longer they’ll be around.

I mean that in a good way. I don’t know if that’s clear, but I do. It feels country. Backroads. Like people come here to talk for hours with Southern accents while the day moves at half speed. I grew up in Seattle, WA, so forgive me if I’m showing my ignorance here, but this felt like a movie set to me in a quaint way.

Aside from that, it’s a small coffee shop with some indoor seating and a little bit outdoors. I’d say this is a good place for locals to hang out. I don’t know that you need to make a day trip from Charlotte just to check it out, but if you’re in the area, it’s solid.
