Description: This charming gathering place draws a crowd for its pastries, light fare & coffee drinks.

Comments: Great place to hang out and read, work, study, chill, etc. For remote work, it’s great, especially after the 2026 redesign. They have way more individual seating spots near outlets now. They're making use of every corner of the interior, and the patio, which is nice.

There are a few places inside where you can sit with a wall behind you, or to the side of you, that kind of block your view of the rest of the store, allowing you to feel nestled in. I like it. The Park Road location is still my favorite Amelie’s, but this is another solid choice for remote work or studying.

I’ve also been on a date here. It didn’t go well, but the location wasn’t the problem. There was plenty of space for us to find a corner, it just wasn’t a good fit. She spent most of the date talking about her upcoming plans to leave Charlotte permanently, while I had only just gotten settled here, so I was like, alright, have a good life fam.

That has nothing to do with this location. I just felt like telling that story. Anyways, I like this place.
