Description: A Filipino-inspired coffee shop inside Rock Hill’s Power House development serving classic espresso drinks, coffee sourced from the Philippines, ube beverages, calamansi-based Filipino sweet tea, and Filipino pastries in a creative, culture-forward setting. The space blends a coffee bar with an artful, hip-hop-influenced atmosphere, making it useful for coffee runs, casual meetups, specialty drinks, and spending time around the larger Power House dining, retail, and event district. Good for trying Filipino-inspired drinks, grabbing espresso, meeting friends, and supporting a locally rooted coffee concept with a strong cultural identity.
Comments: I don't know of any other place in the greater Charlotte area specifically focused on serving Filipino style coffee and cinnamon rolls ❤️. I am so happy about both of those things. I grew up with a Filipino friend whose mom would make us lumpia (like an egg roll but Filipino style) whenever we'd hangout, and it was marvelous. I miss those times. Or maybe it's the food I miss, I don't know. But what I do know is this place is powered by Filipino coffee and pastries, so if you've ever wanted to try either, this is the place to visit.
The coffee shop itself is just a small window, but it's inside a larger development called Power House, which has apartments, restaurants, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and another coffee shop called Mug and Maple. I think it's a bit funny that the same floor in the building has two coffee shops, seems a strange decision from management to put them both so close, but it is what it is.
There's plenty of space to hangout and work on your laptop here, and an area with a couch if you want to settle in and read a book. There's also outdoor seating and a restaurant in the building if you get hungry. Parking is free, there's a garage just for visitors.
