Comments: I've been told the Wi-Fi password is printed at the bottom of your receipt if you choose to get one. Otherwise, there’s a small sticky note near the checkout counter with it. Ask the staff if you can’t find it, although as an introvert myself, there’s a mild amount of social anxiety I get when asking for the Wi-Fi password only for the barista to point to a big obvious sign I somehow missed. So, yeah.

The layout here is pretty neat. There’s stadium-style seating with pillows, some lounge chairs, and a few tables with chairs both upstairs and downstairs. The main challenge is the truly abysmal access to outlets. If you’re planning to work here, charge your laptop ahead of time. Other than that, I like the vibes. The pastries are solid. Honestly, better than Amelie’s in my opinion.

Also, when Tous les Jours first came to Charlotte, I was like “wow, what a cool spot.” Then a friend from New York was like “lol, y’all really think this is special?” and I was embarrassed (NYC transplants in Charlotte please just go home if nothing here pleases or impresses you, stop bullying the rest of us for being simple and happy). Turns out they’re a chain. Not that that should change your opinion of them, just don’t go thinking it’s Charlotte local.
