Description: Welcome to Psalms Coffee, your local cafe in Indian Trail, where we combine smalltown Christian values with delectable foods and beverages to deliver the ultimate coffee shop experience. As a family-owned coffee shop, we cordially invite you to stop by and treat yourself to some freshly-brewed coffee, healthy chai tea, thirst-quenching lemonade, or palate-pleasing frappuccino.
Comments: Let me start by confessing my bias. I’m a devout Christian, so naturally I’m partial to this place. I love the Psalms and often turn to them as a way to enter into prayer. So when I walked in and saw the name, the concept, and the unapologetically Christian theme, I couldn’t help but love the place.
There are Bible verses throughout the shop, a warm and inviting decor, and a wooden cross where you can leave a prayer or note on a post-it. I saw open Bibles on tables and overheard conversations about faith. Everything about this place resonated with me. To be clear though, it’s open to everyone. The owners just aren’t shy about their faith, which is exactly how it should be in a country founded in part on religious freedom.
It’s small, and especially popular on weekends, but for good reason. It’s new as of 2025 and already has a steady group of regulars. It’s miraculous I’ve talked this much and haven’t yet mentioned the fact that they have cinnamon rolls 🙌🏾🔥. Well sized, generously iced, filled with cinnamon goodness. They also have other pastries and cold drinks, along with a full coffee menu and a few tea options.
If you have kids, there’s a fenced-in play area right out front so you can sip coffee while your little ones run around without worry. It’s a thoughtfully designed coffee shop, unambiguous in its Christian mission and commitment to charity, kindness, and making all feel welcome. I love it.
