Comments: As far as Charlotte-Mecklenburg libraries go, I wouldn’t rate it among the most impressive (SouthPark wins with its marvelous patio overlooking a fountain garden), but it’s a fine place nonetheless. I like sitting by the windows and watching the traffic on The Plaza go by. There’s a Dave’s Hot Chicken across the street if you’re hungry, and a Harris Teeter so you can shop after you’re done hanging out.
