Description: A West Coast-inspired smoothie bowl café in Charlotte’s South End serving açaí bowls, smoothie bowls, smoothies, breakfast tacos, espresso drinks, matcha, chai, coconut coffee, lemonades, and specialty lattes. The menu features buildable fruit bowls with granola, bananas, berries, tropical fruit, nut butters, protein add-ons, coconut, honey, cacao nibs, and other toppings. The interior has a bright beachy feel with colorful branding, counter seating, wood accents, tropical décor, and a clean fast-casual layout centered around the ordering counter and smoothie bowl prep area. The space combines a health-focused café menu with a casual hangout atmosphere for bowls, coffee, and quick meals.
Comments: On any random weekday between 9 AM - 5 PM it's not that busy here. It's sort of a sleeper pick as a remote work spot in South End. They have free Wi-Fi, coffee, and great access to outlets from the bar seating options. And of course, acai bowls and smoothies and all sorts of fruity stuff. Very tropical aesthetic to the place, bright teal floor, a beach swing, and a garage door looking thing that's usually open so you can walk right in.
Also, side note, I really enjoy how walkable South End is. I've walked here from Atherton Mill after hanging out at Not Just Coffee before. And then you could walk to Common Market, Summit Coffee, and a ton of other spots in this area to hangout. Whoever designed the neighborhood, great job.
