Comments: Never in my life did I think you could jazz up toast the way they do here. You see, I am a simple man. Butter, jelly, maybe different kinds of jelly, like apricot, avocado, vegemite for the Aussies, that's my idea of what goes on toast. But here? It's like everything man. If you like toast and the idea of loading it up the way one would a pizza with every kind of spread and topping you can imagine, you'll like this place.
Aside from that, this is a very bright space due to the large windows, and they have free Wi-Fi, so it's not a bad place to plop down and get some work done or study. It's in the lobby of a larger office building. There's also some solid outdoor seating in a courtyard belonging to the building on the whole.
Parking is paid in a garage that serves the whole complex. The staff here is very nice. Very warm and welcoming. Regulars who work on in the nearby office buildings get greeted by name when they come by for their daily order. Also, while it's a nationwide chain, this franchise location is Black-owned by a couple that wanted to bring this experience to Charlotte after encountering it in Atlanta.
