Sumaq Coffee

Description: Sumaq is a cafe inspired by Quechua, the language and culture of indigenous South America. It serves craft coffee, matcha lattes, artisanal pastries, and fresh, made-from-scratch sandwiches with culturally inspired names, with both indoor seating and an outdoor patio for remote work or casual meetups.

Comments: They have great plant work going on inside. The food is really good, particularly the breakfast flatbread and chicken/bacon sandwich, and the cheesecake, and the empanadas. All the food is good. And sometimes, usually in the winter, they sell pumpkin flavored cinnamon rolls 👀🔥.

The vibes are good as well. Bright aesthetic, wood colored tables and chairs with green accents here and there by way of plants. Very popular spot for friend groups to meet up. Also a hot spot among remote workers. And dates, always seems to be some love birds in here on weekends.

Outlet access is good, not great though, so I’d suggest coming charged up. In 2025 they added more seating, which is awesome because the only concern here before was it’s so cool it gets pretty packed. That’s less of a problem now, easier to find a seat.
