Comments: It’s hard to say anything in South End is a hidden gem because of how busy the area is, but in terms of a place to hang out for some time, work on your laptop, and kick back, this spot is definitely underrated within the neighborhood.

Free parking, free Wi-Fi, of course donuts, sometimes cinnamon rolls too, basic coffee options, cold drinks, great access to outlets, and outside of the mornings, it’s hardly ever busy. This store was clearly designed for people to stay a while, the same way you would at a coffee shop, but it seems like very few people realize that.

The music tends to be a bit loud, so bring noise cancelling headphones, but aside from that, it’s a sleeper pick in the area for a place to hang out. I’ve camped out here on my laptop before and enjoyed being the only one around for the time being.

Now, if you’re on a diet or trying to eat healthier, then definitely don’t hang out here. It’s hard to resist a Krispy Kreme donut. And sometimes they have cinnamon rolls, although to be honest, it’s closer to a coffee roll, which isn’t at all the same thing as a cinnamon roll. Trust me. Cinnamon rolls are my thing.

Oh, and if you’re a true big back, they have a 24 hour donut vending machine outdoors, so you can always get your sugar fix. Do what you will with that information.
