Description: A specialty coffee shop in Charlotte serving Yemeni coffee, espresso drinks, lattes, tea, and traditional Middle Eastern beverages alongside pastries and desserts inspired by Yemeni flavors. The café features a modern interior with a mix of table seating and lounge areas, creating a comfortable environment for meeting friends, relaxing, or working over coffee. The menu includes signature spiced coffee drinks, Adeni tea, Turkish coffee, specialty lattes, and rotating baked goods that highlight the café's Middle Eastern roots while offering familiar espresso favorites.

Comments: Comfortable seating, all the chairs have padded backs. Small space but they fill it with booth style seating along a wall, bar style seating by the window, and a bunch of two person tables throughout the middle area. So plenty of space to plop down. The aesthetic is clean and polished, blue, bronze, and a warm gray mixed together throughout the space.

The menu is similar to what you’d see at Haraz. Yemeni coffee options, refreshers, pastries, and teas. The adeni chai in particular is good. It’s a solid spot to work remotely, free Wi-Fi, enough space to feel like you’ll find a seat, pretty aesthetic.

The worst park here is parking. It’s South End, so paid street parking. It is what it is though, that’s the price you pay for a walkable neighborhood, which is one great thing about South End. If you already live there, walk here, or take the train, problem solved. The rest of us will figure it out 😅.
