Orrman's Cheese Shop

Description: A full-service specialty market centered on cut-to-order cheese, charcuterie, pantry goods, and prepared bites. The space has shifted from a food hall stall into a neighborhood storefront with room to sit down, browse the case, build a board, or grab a grilled cheese, soup, salad, or raclette plate. The vibe is more intimate than a grocery store but more linger-friendly than a counter-only shop, with a small dine-in area and patio for a quick lunch, casual date, or cheese-and-wine stop. The rotating case focuses on farmstead, artisanal, local, regional, American, and European cheeses, with staff guidance as a major part of the experience.

Comments: If the name seems familiar, know that Orrman’s moved from The Market at 7th Street to this dedicated storefront in May 2026 after more than a decade in Uptown. If you like cheese, in its many various forms, then this is your third place. It's a cheesy third place.

In terms of seating, there's four or so two-person tables indoors, and a handful more outdoors. I'd say it's best for hanging out, grabbing a quick bite, maybe a date with a cheese lover (their grilled cheese sandwiches are spoken highly of), meeting some friends, but not really a place for remote work or studying, which is just fine. It's all about the cheese here. Embrace it.

If you like grilled cheese sandwiches, they have some here with cheeses I’ve never heard of that sound fancy and exotic. And you can add various meats and other things to them. They also have cheeseboards and wine and sandwiches and other stuff.
