Description: Small suburban public library branch with quiet reading areas, computers, and regular community programs for kids and adults. A good pick for focused work thanks to free Wi-Fi and plenty of outlets in a calm setting. Free parking on-site and no purchase required.
Comments: It's a library, and it is small. To me, there are no cozy seating spots here. It's either in the middle of the floor where you're surrounded by people, or back in a corner facing a wall while people walk the book shelves behind you. Still, it's a modern library, it's nice, but I don't like the seating arrangements.
That said, this is down the street from Sunflour Baking Company, Rocky River Coffee Co., and Verb Coffee | The Burg Church, so you've got plenty of options in the area if you don't like it here. Also, there's a newish YMCA around the corner. If you have a YMCA membership, you can go to any of them in the Charlotte area. This one is nice.
