Description: A family-owned Brazilian bakery, dessert shop, and casual lunch spot in Ballantyne serving traditional sweet and savory Brazilian foods. The menu includes pastries, cakes, brigadeiros, mousse, açaí, pudim, pão de queijo, coxinha, pastels, risoles, kibe, Brazilian sandwiches, burgers, weekday plate specials, and occasional dishes like feijoada.

The space is casual and cozy, with sit-down seating, Brazilian music, and a welcoming neighborhood feel rather than a grab-and-go-only bakery. It’s useful for desserts, lunch, coffee-and-pastry stops, custom cakes, catering, and people looking for Brazilian food culture in south Charlotte.

Comments: This place is legit. Whenever I visit, most of the customers inside are from South America, many I’m presuming Brazilian, and converse in Portuguese and Spanish. You know it’s authentic when people from the actual culture being represented by the business naturally hang out there. It’s Brazilian owned and operated, so everything here is the real deal.

In addition to sweets, there are a lot of Brazilian food items here as well. Savory type stuff. Brazilian-style hamburgers, steak with rice, various sandwiches, and more. If you’re hungry, I highly recommend the Tudo burger. A burger patty, chicken patty, bacon, ham, and egg on a brioche bun, served with fries. Marvelous, just marvelous. For the intermittent fasting, one-meal-a-day crowd, it’s a great way to break that fast. You’ll be full.

The place has great atmosphere. Clean modern aesthetic. Friendly staff. A good amount of space, and usually Brazilian or Bossa Nova music playing in the background. It’s compact but they make good use of the space so there’s enough seating to come with friends. Also, free Wi-Fi if you want to bring your laptop and get some work done, which I've done on several occasions.
