Waterbean Coffee | Concord

Comments: Very interesting location, it's right by a gas station, to the point where if you aren't paying attention, you might miss it. It looks like it might be the gas station's interior until you look up and see their sign. Parking is limited right in front of the store, and you can't park in the gas station spots, but there's more options behind the building and in the general area, all free.

Aside from that, if you've been to any Waterbean location, it shares that same polished white aesthetic, with darker accent colors on the chairs and decorations scattered about. Sort of like a modern doctor's office sort of thing going on. Or a cool and hip online bank that doesn't have brick and mortar stores and is trying to make finance cool, like Ally I guess. I mean all of that in a good way, I like the aesthetic here.

What I like most though is the marvelous menu of loose leaf herbal teas they offer. Well over 20 options, green, white, oolong, herbal,, black, all sorts of custom blends. The Temple of Heaven herbal tea remains one of my favorites here.

It's a solid spot to plop down and study/work. I see student study groups here all the time. It's a small space but they pack it full of seating, and there's decent outlet to access if you sit in one of the 4-5 spots along the main wall. There's also a big table in the middle for groups and a few outdoor seating spots, so big enough to feel comfortable you'll find a spot.
