Description: Gibson Mill Market is a locally-sourced food hall located on the campus of historic Gibson Mill in Concord, NC.
Comments: Similar to Optimist Hall, but I like this spot way more. It's two stories with fewer stalls, which makes it feel more intimate and less overwhelming. Parking is plentiful and free, and it has a down-to-earth vibe rather than the trendy "you have to try this omg" TikTok energy Optimist has these days.
The market itself is a third place, but within it, you've got Luck Factory Games on the lower level with its own café, board games, bar, and snacks, as well as High Branch Brewing Co. Then there's a coffee shop upstairs, and if that's not enough, you can walk across the street to Mattie Ruth's Coffee.
If you make the drive out here, it's worth it. It's a great place for a date, as there's also an antique store, The Depot at Gibson Mill., in the same complex You park once and can walk around and check all sorts of stuff out. It's busy enough on weekends to have good energy, but it never feels crowded, and I love that. This place is awesome.
