Description: A locally owned café and gift shop offering handcrafted coffee drinks, Vietnamese coffee, bubble tea, smoothies, specialty desserts, ice cream, and light café food in a colorful modern setting. Known for its mix of café culture and boutique shopping, the space also features K-pop merchandise, collectibles, gifts, and social media-friendly décor that attracts students, families, and younger crowds looking for a casual hangout spot in the Gastonia area.
Comments: Owned by a Vietnamese woman that’s specifically passionate about serving authentic Vietnamese coffee and cuisine, reflecting her upbringing in Da Nang. The RnR stands either for Royal Ruby (which is on the cups) or Raelynn and Roselyn, the names of the owner's daughters (source).
It’s a small space but it’s filled with stuff to keep patrons occupied. Chess boards, Jenga, toy vending machines, various K-pop and anime themed gift store items, and then food and drinks. It’s a bubble tea shop and cafe and gift store all in one.
Now, it’s compact, so I wouldn’t come here to have a super-secret conversation, or with a large group, but it’s a cute place to hangout that’s popular with local students. Try the banh mi sandwiches and spring rolls, both of which come highly recommended by people on the Internet. I’ve had their tea lemonade fruit tea things before. They’re very good. The peach mango especially!
