Description: A stylish locally owned coffee shop with cozy built-in nook seating, warm earthy tones, and a calm, design-forward atmosphere. Good for coffee, quiet conversation, or posting up for a bit in a space that feels more curated than typical. The semi-private bench alcoves make it stand out.

Comments: If there were awards for most creatively designed small coffee shops in Charlotte, this spot would win, or at least be nominated. There’s only a seating few spots inside the coffee shop and a few more in the lobby of the larger building. However, the ones inside the shop are cool.

There’s built-in alcove seating along a wall, with long cushioned benches tucked into recessed nooks and framed by beaded curtain dividers. It feels cozy, slightly private, and a little loungey without being fully closed off. There’s also an interesting book hanging out on a shelf there for you to read. Oh and the baristas are very nice, and they have excellent taste in music. A good selection of 2008-2020ish bangers.

Also they have cinnamon rolls 🙌🏾🙏🏾❤️. They’re small but mighty in flavor. Idk if they bake or buy then but I’m always happy to see cinnamon rolls. And they properly steep their teas, loose leaf, no bag in your cup. Respect.
