Comments: I feel like calling your coffee shop “The Coffeeshop” gives the same energy as referring to your alma mater with “The” at the front. Looking at you, graduates of “The” Ohio State University. But this place is so nice I’ll allow it.

To start, the chairs have padded bottoms. The tall chairs, the short chairs, and the booth-style seating. Everything has padded bottoms. I can’t emphasize enough what a positive difference that makes for “relax and stay awhile” vibes. You can hang out here for hours and your behind will be just fine. There's a TV in view from just about all seating locations, and on my first visit, it was playing Spongebob 🙌🏾.

They don’t have cinnamon rolls, but they do have donuts, muffins, and danishes. And proper loose leaf tea, steeped, not bagged. I don’t drink coffee, but I’m huge on tea, and I always appreciate when coffee shops treat it as more than a sideshow. Too many places just give you hot water, throw a cheap bag at you, and send you on your way like tea is somehow inferior to coffee.

There need not be quarrel between us, tea drinkers and coffee drinkers. Let peace reign. Both have a place. But I mean, it is called “The Coffeeshop,” so I guess if they didn’t have tea, I’d be the one with the misaligned expectations.

Anyways, I like this place. I’m sure the coffee tastes great as well, and the fact that the seating is comfortable is a plus. There aren’t any couches or armchairs, but there is some outdoor seating if you want to sit by the road and watch cars go by. And it’s connected internally to a cannabis dispensary, so if that’s your thing, you can get your stuff while you’re hanging here.
