Lottie’s Cafe

Description: A family-run, Black-owned coffee shop located in Uptown Charlotte’s Queen City Quarter. Serving coffee, specialty drinks, pastries, and light meals, it provides a welcoming space for people to gather and relax.

Comments: Great spot to grab some food/coffee, work, study, or just chill in a cozy environment. It has that true family vibe, don’t be surprised if the owner or a family member stops by for a friendly chat. The pastries, particularly the donuts, are incredible. That's because they source them from Beyond Amazing Donuts, another local black-owned business, and a favorite of mine (they have marvelous cinnamon rolls). That plus the laid-back atmosphere makes it a great place to hangout!
