Description: A Hawaiian-themed coffee shop tucked inside The Thread, a converted textile mill in downtown Rock Hill, serving premium Kona and island-grown coffee alongside signature lattes, blended drinks, cold brews, teas, and bags of whole bean and ground coffee to take home. The bright, tropical, Instagram-friendly space offers indoor cafe seating that suits a quick daytime stop, casual remote work, or meeting up with a friend.

Counter service handles espresso drinks and iced beverages kept strong with the brand's frozen coffee cubes, plus a short lineup of food with a Hawaiian twist. The mood is laid-back and family-friendly with a welcoming Aloha spirit, and the downtown setting puts it within walking distance of other shops and offices in the redeveloped mill district.

Comments: Bright and airy aesthetic, and as the name might imply, there’s a tropical, Hawaiian-inspired vibe in the colors. There’s some outdoor seating as well. Access to outlets is excellent inside. From almost every seating location you can stay charged up.

The menu reminds me of Caribou Coffee in the sense that there’s a little bit of everything. Coffee, tea, cold drinks, sandwiches (but nowhere near as good as Caribou's), pastries, including cinnamon rolls 🙌🏾, and smoothies. The cinnamon rolls are from whatever place the Coffee Republic in Ballantyne gets there's. I can tell. Cinnamon rolls are my thing. They're really good. Seriously, for a coffee shop cinnamon roll its plenty big, generously iced. A quality cinnamon roll without question.

Inside, there are 3 four-person tables, 2 separate lounge areas with 1 coffee table and 4 lounge chairs each, 1 tall group table, and another short group table. So all the seating is built for 4 or more people, meaning if you’re coming solo to work on your laptop or study, you’ll probably end up taking a spot meant for a handful more than just you. But to me that's fine on a warm day because they also have outdoor seating. Everyone can find a place to plop down regardless.

Also, check out the ceiling fans. The blades are shaped like leaves. Lastly, I don’t drink coffee, so I can’t tell you how the coffee tastes, but if you ever make your way down here, let me know.
